One of my biggest frustrations in the past few months has been
trying to keep up with the amount of ads, free and those from ad
coops. Even with a Sunday edition, I am still backlogged.
I know I really didn't have the time to add another day to the
publication schedule so I got a good tip from a friend of mine
(Thanks Marion) to just simply break the ezine into two parts, as
I see many of the publishers have done this with great success.
So this way I can also not only deliver my own articles but I can
also showcase some of the articles sent to me from our readers
and those who submit their articles through the article
directory.
So starting this Sunday My IBiz Weekly will come out with two
parts. This will benefit both all of us.
So if you see Part Two without receiving Part one yet don't worry
it will get to you. It all depends on how aweber sends them out.
I am still redesigning the site and hopefully it will be ready by
next week. Hopefully, we'll see.

Why are Violent & Fear-Oriented Words So Popular in Online
Advertising?

Have you noticed the inundation of violent words used to
"positively" promote web site and online services? In today's
atmosphere of terrorism, why is there "not" a recognition that
terms like the following promote fear and negative emotions:
"Killer ads" "Blast your Readers with..." "Explode your
traffic..." And if the user of these terms "intends" to gain
customers by tactics of fear - Why? Do you 'want' to do business
or buy from someone who would personally hurt you? Offend you?
Blast you? Kill you?
Those who use such terms will be defensive against my viewpoints,
but as a person who wants peace in our world, I encourage all of
us, including myself, to "think" before we use such words that
depict fear, violence, hatred and words used in terrorism.
Am I an extremist? Perhaps, but before using such phrases,
visually place yourself in the same room with someone who lost a
loved one on 9-11 and try to ask them if they like these terms?
Would they 'buy' from you?
The unfortunate reality is that if a person were to totally avoid
working with web sites that use these terms, he/she might as well
not work online -- the usage of these words is That Prevalent!
It's obvious that the users of these phrases do not mean them
literally, but what concerns me is how saturated the mind can
become with such syntax. "Words" DO affect each of us. There is a
Bible verse that says, "As a man (woman) thinketh in his heart,
so is he/she" (Proverbs 23:7). As we think, we speak -- as we
speak, we influence -- as we influence, we change lives!!! Let's
not blast, explode, nor kill each other in our advertising! There
is a whole dictionary and thesaurus where nonviolent words and

It was the usual muddy day in the country.
Our first grade teacher, Miss Brown, had just finished putting
the 36th boot on the 18th pair of little feet and was anxious to
finish the last pair so she could go to lunch.
The last pair of boots was for little Johnny Smith, a quiet boy.
Miss Brown had a very difficult time getting his boots on as
they were a bit too small for his growing feet, but she finally
won the battle.
To her dismay, little Johnny looked blandly up into her face
and announced, "Teacher, these boots aren't mine."
In a hurry, but wanting to be kind, Miss Brown groaned, but with
grim gentleness removed the boots and straightened her aching
back.
Whereupon Johnny continued, "They're my little brother's, but
Mommy said I could wear them to school today
Here's another laugh to get you through the weekend..
