Hi and welcome to another edition of My IBiz Weekly.
There is a lot to cover in today's issue so I won't waste much
time.
In part one we will look at the true facts about making money
online. I get so tired of seeing the same problems without
knowing how to correct those common mistakes.
Do you know how to achieve good name recognition? If someone
forgot the name of your site or ezine, will they ever remember
your name so you can be found?? If you think that name
recognition isn't important, why don't you ask the marketers
online who thrive in good name and product recognition.
Part Two will show you some quick tips that everyone starting out
needs to know about when promoting your products, services or
affiliate programs.
I also have a guest article from Noel Pebbles. HE has a list of
some inspirational quotes that he has written for anyone who
likes new and interesting content for their ezine. Enjoy.

The redesign is almost finished. Hopefully there won't be any
major design mistakes that I find out after I have uploaded the

Like It Or Lump It, That's Business

Have you ever thrown some food at a flock of birds and watch them
all run to that food?
They don't know what kind of food you've given them or if it's
even food in the first place, but they will eat it up no matter
what.
Hmm, reminds of the feeding frenzy that I see online every day..
The time you spend online learning your business, you are
learning every day something new that should help you to grow and
expand.
We all know that you need your own product or service in the long
run in order to stake some claim online, but every time I turn
around, I get a new email letting me know about a new program or
system which will make you thousands of dollars.
( I am not debating how authentic a program is or whether you
will get scammed by these systems, that's another article
altogether )
The problem is no matter how many times you attempt to promote
and profit from anything, you just can't seem to break even..
What Gives??
Unfortunately entrepreneurs starting out online hate the hear the
cold, hard facts, but you have to listen sometime.
Truth #1
For the last time, it takes money to make money.
You know how most of these "guru's" get in on the programs and
make a success of it. They have the money to promote like crazy.
If you have the money to spare then use it. So when you are
trying to promote something that requires sign ups for further
financial gain, using those free resources just may not be enough
Fact of life.
You have a large list or a high traffic site, people are going to
see the offer more from you than the person who has 100
subscribers and 5 visitors a day to his/her site.
Truth #2
Yes, The Well Known Marketers Will Prevail Most Of The Time .
If Joe Blow has been online for 6 months recommends a program,
you may look at it and you may be interested.
But if the same program is promoted by a more established
marketer and has not only established good product recognition
but name recognition, subscribers will trust their
recommendations and therefore they will make the sales at a
faster rate.
But don't doubt the smaller netpreneur who are only small due to
their time established online.
They have solid products and services and will grow very
productive in the years to come. But they are new, plain and
simple.
Okay So Now I Know, What Am I Supposed To Do About It??
Keep pushing for crying out loud. You just started, what are you
giving up for.
If these marketers are making money then obviously they are doing
something right.
I hope in a few years that people consider me an established
marketer who has a good reputation online.
That is the whole purpose. I am not complaining when I don't get
the same type of financial gain as they do. Hello!!
I don't care who promotes what, you as an individual should use
your own mind and judgment before you just sign up for anything.
I know everyone is broke these days but this feeding frenzy has
to die down eventually..
Not every program is for everyone. Not everyone can afford a
program.
Don't let someone tell you otherwise..
If you think Oh if I don't get in on this, I will lose out.
Maybe, maybe not..
But one thing is for sure
There will always be another one coming along the way..

You want to know how these guru's are making money??
They spend a lot of time and effort to achieve good product and
name recognition.
People may forget your site, they may forget the name of your
ezine, but they won't forget your name if you know some good way
to gain name recognition.
Email
When sending out email, make sure your name appears in the
Senders area. Not an email address but your full name.
When you are sending out your ezine, depending on what type of
software or list host you use, make sure your name or at least
your ezine name appears in the Sender's area.
Online
Take part in message boards and discussion lists. Become active
in these communities and offer any help you may have to give.
Take part in joint ventures
Exchange ad swaps and links with other webmasters
Write testimonials for other publishers and webmasters. We all
love testimonials. You can never have enough testimonials!
Submit your site and ezines to directories. People will see your
name, they will see your product and what you have to offer.
Give feedback on a product or an ezine.
For those of you who have unique sounding names, just as mine,
then rejoice. People will always remember the unusual names
first.
Aren't You glad now that your mother gave you such a unique
name!!
