Good day everyone. I seem to have a problem
with bounces today as my host has tried to clear some bounces off my server
but for some reason a lot of people are being removed who didn't click on
the link to remove themselves. Unless someone contacts me personally, I
can't just go in and add those that unsubscribed. I would never hear the end
of it, and it's Friday so I don't need someone trying to accuse me of spam.
So bear with me until this is straightened out.
Please make a note of the new ad prices
below. I lowered the prices and this is the permanent price at least for
quite a while.
With new subscribers also comes a lot of extra bounces. It
is becoming increasingly harder to get past these filters these days. As
much as I love publishing in html, every time I do eventually the filters
get me so it looks like it is back to text.
I will place a link to an online version. That was one of
the main reasons I started My IBiz Weekly.com. I figured one day if it gets
that bad with the filters that we all end up becoming more web based, I
would be ready.
So I am going to place a link in the text version to the
online version. It is really getting harder for publishers these days. One
day when I am finished with this series I can go back to my old ezine
tutorial and revive it for 2003.
Oh did you think I forgot about my ezine tutorial? Actually
I have written several tutorials that as soon as I make the quick changes,
will turn them into e courses as well as web based courses.
My mind is always flowing with ideas, just time is the real
problem :)
Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed the Help, I'm Married
to the Computer series. It has opened up quite a few eyes to say the least.
We all have to get these basics down because it is these small problems that
are stopping us from succeeding.
Tuesday's issue will deal with Part three of the series
where we look at the lazy side of those who work at home. Yes we can all get
like that sometimes. You can't complain about not making any money until you
have exhausted all options. Stay tuned for Part Three along with some great

If you've been working online very long you've probably
noticed different people will give you different advice for
earning money and building your business.
Some will say you have to have your own product to sell.
Others will claim you absolutely *don't* need your own
product.
So who's right? In this case, I'd say both!
I'm sure you're wondering what I mean because that doesn't
seem to make any sense. How can both be right?
It's simple. Think of it this way. Let's say you create
innovative software to help internet marketers increase
their profits by automating their businesses. You have a
great product and your sales are decent.
But, what about the potential customers who visit your
website but don't need your product because they don't yet
have a business? They're still exploring the marketing
world. Maybe they're trying to find products to sell or
learn how to build an online business. Away they go! After
all, they don't need software to help them with their
business if they don't have a business, right?
Wouldn't it make sense to offer other products to benefit
them? Maybe you don't write e-books about how to market on
the internet, but other people do. Why not offer some of
those at your website to entice your visitors?
If they purchase an e-book today and learn how, where and
what to market, don't you think they'll return to your
website and order *your* software that will now help them
automate their brand new business?
Makes sense, doesn't it? Having your own product is great.
But offering other helpful resources to your customers
builds your sales even more. You'll make money from the

Sometimes when we say less, we sell more. Your prospect
responded to your advertising. NOW.....let the customer buy
from you. Say too much at the wrong time and you may lose
the sale.
Our natural instincts prompt us to fill in the blanks of
silence. In sales, we are usually good at this. We are
trained to add extra points or expand upon ideas. Sometimes
we think of something that we forgot.
What we REALLY need to do is let the customer have his or
her say. Often at times, what customers say, can be a
mouthful. They will tell us what they want from us. They
will tell us the price they are prepared to pay for our
services. They will tell us what benefits are critical for
them. They will even order from us on occasion, if we let
them speak.
Compare the art of waiting to the performance of Stage
Performers. Stage performers are taught to give their
audience some processing time, in real time. The audience
has to process the information that is presented and then
the audience reacts. Waiting for the audience's reaction is
called "timing." It is certainly one of the most difficult
theatre arts to master.
Those of us in advertising and sales, who can master brief
periods of silence, will be paid well for that timing skill.
