Hello again everyone and welcome to another edition of MIBW. Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes. I had a great weekend and a good break from the pc. This is something that I needed for a long time. I think we all need a break every now and then. That is part of the reason why I started on a new series for MIBW. Are you married to your pc?? Maybe a few of you thought that this ezine was just going to be a way to showcase everything Ezine Ad Helper and a bunch of ads telling you to buy an ad from me but I can't do that. I love telling you about new sales and offers that I have (in fact I have added some new coops to Ezine Ad Helper but you can read about that below ) but the focus of this ezine is about helping people who want to start their own business. I love going back to the basics since it seems as if we do things backwards sometimes online. Not finding your goal, and your focus first before jumping in feet first. Time for a change...

Help, I 'm Married To The Computer (Introduction) Is Your Work At Home Perception Fuzzy? By Donesia Muhammad Well it's about that time again to get started on another topic of interest for everyone. These days, I see the other side of the tracks these days. I have spent so much time online, you tend to forget about the offline world. My daughters are going back to school next week and I pondered on how much time was spent this summer getting the business together and how much time was spent with them. See it's different when you work at home. You can always get a regular job and the children will understand that you will be away from the house for 8 hours or more a day. But when they see you home daily, no matter what their age, they want priority. We can make all the money in the world but at what price do you sacrifice?
Loss of Perception may sound funny but it means basically getting so wrapped in the world of internet marketing that you only focus on that. You can't function without your computer. If you don't check your email every 10 minutes, something is wrong. Always trying to get a leg up on the competition, pretty soon the biggest threat to your business is YOU. ( Yes, been there, done that..) You start to become ruthless and it seems that you may end up pulling every trick in the book to achieve what you think are the goals needed to succeed, including
How many times have you joined just about every program out there only to later realize " When am I going to have the time to handle this??" How many times have you committed yourself to something because you want to get in on the Net Marketing bandwagon only to realize that nothing is what you believed it to be?
Possible Marital or Relationship Problems How many times have you had to explain to your spouse or significant other that what you are doing is making sense.
Now I know many of you like myself have spouses who are not computer savvy, so there are a lot of things that they may not understand. Explaining to them about spam, and the FTC or why the permissions on your php script is producing errors. BUT, that doesn't mean that I don't consult with him on everything. The ONLY way they are going to find out is to learn from you. It is very easy to argue based on things you don't know about. Make things easier and explain what you do on a daily basis. We all know its basically impossible to explain to someone what we do all day online, but at least it can be a start to explain it to your wife or husband.
Time With Your Children This is sort of a catch 22 here. We basically are working our butts off so our children don't have to struggle when they get older but at the same time we may miss out on some things. Not saying that if you were a doctor in medical school working towards your medical degree then its the same as working towards an internet empire but since this is a relatively new field, it is going to take some time for the offline world to understand us.
Any business is hard work, regardless, I am not saying to slack off and forget about your business but what about when The Business Takes Over Your Life............And You Can No Longer Differentiate Between The Two??
That is the basis of this series. How to balance? Is there a way to balance? Are we making things too hard on ourselves and not even realizing it? These are just some of the things that I want to look at in this series along with: How to truly work at home and keep the children occupied at the same time Remembering your priorities, you know the ones you had before you got online, the ones that are still there but you may have forgotten Tips on working at home to make things easier for you. Your home office can be your safe haven or your worst nightmare. When it's all said and done, its not the computer that will keep you warm at night... How to truly automate your tasks so you can stop being a slave to the pc. How to Avoid Cabin Fever at home and learning how to motivate yourself.
